How to fix that? I posted in the support thread but got no answer after a few days

MyTwitter Connect elaborates avatars with the same dimensions set in the maximum allowed dimensions for avatars default setting. If avatars look shrunk down, which seems to be your case, consider looking for that setting and change it to other reasonable and/or allowed dimensions.
