MyBB Community Forums

First of all let me just say that this is my first 1.8 forum (I was using 1.6 for quite some time). Loving 1.8! It feels so much different and efficient. All we have to do now is get all these plugins compatible without changing the files for every little thing.  

Which, speaking of -- forum icons. The old plugin does not work, and I really don't want to have to keep editing templates for it, especially when the time comes to advanced onto more themes (but I plan on having just one until holidays come back around). Is there a NEW plugin out there for MyBB 1.8 forum icons? I searched around, but to no avail. It's either changing .inc compatibility of Ficons to 18* only for it not to work correctly anyway, or edit the templates manually.

If worse comes to worse I will go through with it - but do these edits work with 1.8?

AFAIK, plugin is not available for MyBB 1.8.x and referred template instructions should work.

It does indeed work!
There was one little line of coding you needed to tweak. I don't remember what it was, but it requires ADDING something I believe to make it work correctly with 1.8.

Other than that, it is working great!
