do you remember recent changes you have done (eg. added a plugin / changed code ..)

in general,
cause for internal server error needs to be traced through server error log if it exists at web host panel

Thats the problem... plesk hosting doesn't have a server error log... any ideas?

deactivate the plugins affecting threads & posts and check if the error persists
