Im sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place

Im having trouble with the "pjirc_chat" mod. The installation instructions say:

1. Upload the contents of the folder "pjirc_chat" into the root directory of your forum. After that you can activate the plugin in your plugin manager.

2. Enter the details (Server and channel) in the settings in your Admin-CP."

So I put the whole folder "pjirc_chat" in my forum root. Then I went to the pugin manager in the admincp and it said you must install the mod! Or something like that. I thought about trying to upload all the files but not the folder pjirc_chat in the root directory but it would overwrite the images and inc directory thats already in there. What am I missing?

I got it installed, but I cant figure out wich hostname to enter?

I used to have pjIRC installed, so lemme rethink this.

Your hostname should be the irc server that you wish to connect to.
example: irc.msgplus.net

then place in the channel, I think, of which it is to connect to.
