MyBB 1.8 plugin to add a text note or an image into postbit info of thread starter.

Installation:

• Download & unzip package
  
• Copy content from "Upload" folder to the forum root on server
  
• Activate the plugn in ACP
  
• Check the plugin settings in configuration
  

Update:

• Download & unzip new package
  
• Deactivate plugin in ACP
  
• Copy content from "Upload" folder to the forum root on server - overwrite existing plugin files
  
• Activate the plugn in ACP
  
• Check the plugin settings in configuration

This plugin offers full language support. The package contains english language files.

Ooo this is a nice little plugin I have found digging through these pages.

While it isn't that important at my forum size that is very beta phase... as someone who uses reddit .. it is going to be nice to have.

what does it do, does anyone have a screenshot?

does it make a highlight of who the threadstarter is in all the replies?

That is what it looks like by default.

The first post isn't marked... because it doesn't need to be I guess? imo it should be marked though..

Personally for now I just changed the text to 'OP'

The plugin is not working correctly with guest posting enabled, you could compare IPs in case $thread['uid'] is 0: http://community.mybb.com/thread-167994-...pid1144967

The IP check is an option in case of this but it isn't 100% correctly with dynamic IPs. That's the reason why I've deactivated the plugin function when $thread['uid'] = 0 (guest thread) in the new version 1.2.

If you use the Thread starter redirect, it says: "The specified post does not exist" by mybb jgrowl notification, however i get redirected.
