Can i use themes 1.6 in mybb 1.8? i have downloaded a theme and it works normaly.
initially it might appear to work normally but there will be many issues & missing features !

Yes, if you know what you're doing. Just make 1.6 to 1.8 and after that, fix a lot of stuff.
