How to move Board Statistics inside the Categories instead of being on the Index?

ie, when you click on the categories....

Secondly, how do i add a minimizer to the subforums panel there as well?

so how can I remove the board index from the index to help load it more quickly?

index template contains {$forums} & {$boardstats}

{$forums} enlists all the forums, subforums .. etc and {$boardstats} displays the statistics
they are not global variables. i.e. they do not work everywhere.
