if you go to your admin cp > system health > chmod files and directories area and have a file that isn't set to the proper chmod, it'll give you a message letting you know and provide a link for chmod settings, like so:

furthermore, in the install documentation that ships with the download, it says for additional security you can chmod config.php back to 644 or 444, yet it's wanting the config.php chmod to 777 in the admin cp. this should be updated for consistency, imho.
