I just downloaded the program and I am trying to figure out how to install it. I need some help. Also our web site is on a yahoo server will this program work on that server?
MyBB will not work with Yahoo. You need a web host which supports PHP and MySQL to be able to use MySQL. A few users here have recommended free hosts, so just search about.

As for installation after you download the archive unzip it to a directory and read the contents of docs/install.html. You can also access the installation instructions here: http://www.mybboard.com/docs/install.html
From what I have seen with my yahoo server supports PHP and MySQL. I am not using a free yahoo server. we are paying for it. I am just not the best with computers yet. I will show my computer guy the instructions and if he can get it to work I'll be sure to let you know.
For some hosts, please refer to this post:

The Yahoo server you're talking about is Geocities? By the paid plans you mention you either have Geocities Plus or Geocities Pro right? I just glanced at their site page and I didn't see anything about PHP/MySQL but you can also make sure by contacting their support department (assuming if you've paid the hosting you should get some type of support from them)
I think he is talking about http://smallbusiness.sbc.yahoo.com/webhosting/?p=1. As long as he has greater than the "Intro" plan then PHP/MySQL seems to be included.
Correct Matt Light. I am using the smallbusiness webhosting. I am just trying to figure out if it will work with it.
Take a look on this page:

http://smallbusiness.sbc.yahoo.com/webho...ompare.php

You'll see the section for PHP/MySQL and they're supported on everything but the Intro plan as Matt said.
