i have added custom profile field .

which i want to show in profile and post bit.

For this i have added like this.. see image



but i am unable to view that custom field on post / profile.

I have rebuild profile cache also

have you added them to the respective templates.... replace X with the actual id of the field and add the variable to the postbit and member profile template....

postbit: {$post['fidX']}

profile: {$userfields['fidX']}

Can you please elaborate. I am new bie.

Where to find specific templates. i have searched in templates & styles. not found.

How can we make the text in that custom field colourful. i have a custom field named deal rank. where i write trusted .how i can show trusted in green colour in postbit?

you can enable BB code in the parser options in the custom field's settings... and then use the "color" mycode to define colors...
