Hello,

I just installed MyBB 1.8.3 with Tesla Dark Theme. All is fine, all is working, but the BBCode Toolbar is not shown. Maybe anyone can help me with that issue. My Editor looks like this: [Image: SGr0g.jpg]

I hope you guys can help me.
That is a 1.6 theme - you need to edit to make it work on 1.8
So what do I have to edit exactly? It's my first time that I work with MyBB, so. Would be gr8 if you could help me x)
If it is your first time with MyBB then I suggest you get a 1.8 theme. Editing a theme to work with 1.8 is not a simple task.
Quote:Visit your Admin Control Panel, then go to Templates & Style > Templates > Find Updated Templates. This will show you a list of all the templates that have changed during the upgrade.

You can either revert these templates to their default - meaning all the changes you've made to it will be removed - or you can see a Diff Report which will show you exactly what's changed. If you have a custom theme installed, it is probably best that you look at the Diff Report and apply the changes you need.

however, it would be better to install & use a theme fully compatible with MyBB 1.8.x

you may also try this guidance => basic theme updating (1.6 - 1.8)
Mh :/ I love the Tesla Dark Theme. It looks so damn awesome.. On 1.6 it works with the editor, but it looks damn ugly on 1.6.

Thanks for these tips. I'm gonna try it. I hope that I get it worked with the v1.8 and the BBCode Toolbar. Confused
