Hello there,

I'm having a strange issue with my forums...

When I reply to a users thread in my forum, it doesn't display in the thread, but actually in this strange 'messages in this thread' section below.

You are using the threaded view mode, instead of linear. You can change that in your User CP in the Edit Options section. There you will find the option to change your thread view mode. If you want to make the linear mode as default (if it isn't already) for your whole forum, follow these steps:

Admin CP -> Configuration -> Settings -> Show Thread Options -> Usenet Style Thread View -> No -> Save Settings
