I want to add a button to the post area, to the post editor, I have found a hide plugin, and the code to hide it is [lock] and it ends with [/lock] How can I add this as a button to the editor in MyBB 1.8? I need to add this!

Can be done, but is rather complicated. See this example for a spoiler tag.
