Hey guys,
I have a general question: How is it possible that some people can register with the same IP they used already?
My settings in the ACP are:
Maximum Registrations Per IP Address = 1
Time Between Registrations = 43800
(The amount of time (in hours) to disallow registrations for users who have already registered an account under the same ip address.)
I understand this as "the same IP cannot register again within 5 years". But I have many users that registered with the same IP. I used a "multiple registration detector" for that.
How is that even possible? I thought the IP was "blocked from registration", thus a registration with the same IP should be impossible!?
Any explanations? I'm curious why this doesn't work 100%.
