Today I update to MyBB Version 1.8.3. After that this following issue started.

How can I change my /showthread.php?tid=68 to the Post name in the URL?


Now it is showing http://www.mywebsite.com/showthread.php?tid=68 in the address bar. I would like to change it to
http://www.mywebsite.com/Forum-Name

OR

http://www.mywebsite.com/Thread-Name

Please assist...

I try to change the following settings by it is not working.

Server and Optimization Options >> Enable search engine friendly URLs? >> Enable.

When I do this settings I am getting File Not found error.

you can use Google SEO plugin (it requires Plugin Library)

if you were already using Google SEO plugin then update it (deactivate & uninstall, upload files and install & activate)

It is fixed now... I need one more help... I would like to add Meta Tags like Discretion , Title, Keywords to all my new Posts. Which Plugin should I use for it?

I am getting following Warning in Google SEO Plug in. Please let me know how can I fix it. I will send you the .htaccess file now.

its not warning.just deactivate and reactivate plugin. you will extra code under add to .htaccess..just copy that code and paste in your forum root .htaccess file.
