do i need to uninstall the old one or just overwrite it ?

as said in the readme.txt and in the description on the download page:
- deactivate,
- overwrite files,
- reactivate

It's working good in my main theme, but in mybb gomobile it doesnt work tho it shows the modal screen on the left, the button "select image" is not clickable.
