Ive just installed the latest version of mybb, and would like to ask how do add images to the header and footer areas.

In the big empty space right below the what i would call the navbar.

Is this support forum dead ??

I believe you posted in the wrong section. If you have the newest MyBB try the 1.8 section.

Check out header_welcomeblock_member and footer templates to do your edits.
