Hello!

Can anyone please make a plugin with "show first post on each thread page" in postbit?
There is similiar plugin, but its outdated: http://community.mybb.com/thread-36388.html

I'm just curious if you actually think that still works… its from mybb 1.2 -- plenty of time for a template change to disable compatibility.

Wow, I think using such complex plugin as xThreads is not i'm looking for.
Anyway, this mod http://community.mybb.com/thread-36388.html still works, but lacks of moderator options (you cal globally pin first posts in all forums, but cannot mange it in a single thread). So it require little modification for compability with 1.8.x.

Why would you want to pin specific threads?

So, I've modified old "Show First Post" plugin (http://community.mybb.com/thread-36388.html) to work with MyBB 1.8.x.

I don't know may I publish it here, cause of original plugin license.

I mean, why would you want to stick the first post only in certain threads? The code in that plugins needs some changes BTW. Seems poorly written for 1.8

Table of Contents in the first post for very long threads perhaps?

i think it is better if we should an option to pin important post by selection . why ?

so answer is for example

i create a thread of some question , some one gave an positive / good answer to post number 50 or on page 5 if there is an option then i can pin questions and answer posts so new users can read answer without reading unnecessary posts
