Some buttons on my forum don't respond. How do I fix this?

Also, make sure you are using a 1.8 compatible theme.

A custom theme for 1.6, not 1.8. You either need to update many templates to work with 1.8 or download another 1.8 compatible theme: http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?actio...ory=themes
