You can simply try it on your PC. From Windows, use WAMP, for Linux XAMPP.

Thanks anyway but I asked about
free host (read OP). Some things can't be tested with local install and I already use
XAMPP
So, 000webhost is ok for you.
If it's just for test, you won't have any troubles with overload.

No problems with overload on 000webhost.
I just like having options, in case I change my mind about a free host and want to jump ship.
One problem with localhosting is testing email, it is very difficult to simulate.

PHP mail will still attempt to send emails. It's an extension.
