Most likely. I don't see a reason to bump old threads about sites launched months ago. btw...I haven't actually created a new thread for EACH of my forums...
Labrocca, can I ask you a question? You have quite many forums, how can you manage to look after all of them? And how do you attract members, there seemed to be hundreds of them on most of the forums?
Not all my forums take off as evidence by Futurama Forums which is very much dead.
It takes just the right combo for a forums to get into critical mass. Critical Mass is when the forums are just doing well without promotion or even you posting. I have sites like Democracyforums.com which I would say are very close to that.
One of my first thoughts in attracting members is the site something people are passionate about enough to participate daily in the forums. You need a minimum of 10 people willing to post daily and attract other members. When you hit about 100 daily posters you are in the zone. From there your site may grow rather wildy.
Promotion is another matter...it's something I won't get into in this post. Maybe one day at MybbCentral I will write up a big how-to for this.
Great job on the theme (or picking it out if so)! Sorry I've been gone a while, you know about school and all that.
