The file I downloaded from here - http://resources.mybb.com/downloads/merge_1804.zip.

Shows up as version 1.8.1 and the system requires 1.8.4.

What is going on?

The index.php shows:

$merge_version = "1.8.1";
$version_code = 1801;

The incorrect version code has already been fixed. However the only difference between Merge System 1.8.1 and 1.8.4 it a compatibility fix for MyBB 1.8.4.
