i have seen one site link.

it shows vulnerabilities of mybb.
i am using mybb1.6.16 and first two vulnerabilities in above link for mybb befoe 1.8.x so is it required to fix them?
if yes, how to fix?

i dont have much knowledge regarding that site and these vulnerabilities.

Why would we release 1.6.16 and 1.8.3 together without fixing the most serious issue?
