For the new version why you dont make a push button to you dont need to write a post on a theard?

A button to bump a thread without posting.
While this may be useful to some communities, I would think this is better as a plugin.
I also believe it would be better suited as a plugin. Your users will determine when a topic is dead by simply no longer replying to the thread.
