Do you prefer the "left" layout, or do you prefer the "top" layout?
Left being all your info on the left of the page.
Top being all your info on the top.
Provide the choice to the user, over all it is an individual preference, isn't it?
I don't have a preference, I like both.
I prefer a classic layout which collapses to the horizontal style on a smaller device
Top as it is easier to use at smaller devices
I used to prefer top but classic looks quite nice now...
Top layout is something about what MyBB is popular. Firstly I found that layout was named "MyBB layout" and I loved it. I know what is MyBB layout and how it looks before I know what MyBB is.
That's why I was really dissapointed when I saw that MyBB 2.0 probably will not use it...

That can be done with great style, better than normal layout
I prefer a top layout and I also really dislike the look of mybb 2 in the new screen shot, I know it is early days and things will be added/changed, but I've seen twitter feeds on websites display more. It just doesn't look like a forum

I actually like the classic for most posts. But for my blog forum I do use the top one which removes most data so it is compact.
