When I ban someone the person makes a new account and just f**ks around again is there away for the forums to automaticly look at the IP Address of the new memeber and if it matches a member that is banned the forums will automadicly ban that new member. Cause just to say I don't want to match the e-mails everytime a new member comes in.
You can ban emails and IPs.
Under Board Settings -> Change -> Banning
Then if you want to ban an email of someone banned, check the "Users Keep Email" to "No"
You can also Ban IPs, emails and usernames here. (Not actual users tho)
Banning IPs can't be done automatically because the user maybe on a dynamic IP or large network.
It should be under bann in your admin CP, first find out his ip ( admins can see it under the post/name ) And then go to bann :
Banned IP address's : ( His IP )
