Yes, I've had my site up for about a month no problems....I've figured out that it's just that I tried signing up using the username: Test, which seems to no be allowed according to StopForumSpam...

That doesn't mean that all files are uploaded correctly. You have outdated inc/class_stopforumspamchecker.php file because this is missing from it:
