title and attachment says it all

1) Need to add a box in header of a specific forum ( example: in archive to warn the users where they are )
2) need the same box in header of all the pages ( like this plugin since it doesn't work with 1.8 >>>http://community.mybb.com/thread-77485.html ) its ok if I can get the same result with coding

when you click on the link it takes you to header announcement, If thats what you are looking for than there is a new version of that plugin for 1.8
