Is there something already in Mybb or has anyone made a MOD to do this?
I'm looking to have new registers get a PM after they register as well as add an attachment to that PM
Would it also matter how users register? By that I mean whether instant, admin activate, or other options in ACP like email verification.

There is a plugin available which will send a private message to new users when they register. The plugin is located here: http://mods.mybboard.com/view.php?did=439.

I don't believe it's possible to add attachments to the PM however. Also, I'm not sure whether activation method affects the plugin, but I don't imagine so.

I will try it out and see if maybe just add a link to the wanted attachment until maybe the option to add an attachment is made into this MOD or new one.
