So for some reason only people in the Owner group on my forum can see the rss feed section. Anyone else gets a "you shouldn't be here" page. Is there a setting somewhere, or did I brake something in a template?
There are no group permissions checks for entering RSS page in default MyBB. It's most likely caused by a plugin which hooks to misc.php
I only have to plug in at the moment. the steam login plugin and the display username plugin required. I just checked in my head admin which also has access to the admin CP can view the RSS parts. so it seems any group with access to the admin CP can see it
also I'm on my phone so excuse my spelling.
Forum link plus test account please
Tf2app.com/forum we use the steam login so you have to have a Steam account to get on.

link is blank and I dont have a steam account
I'm at work and can't create the URL just put that in your browser and it will go to the correct spot

EDIT: Home now.

Saying the link is blank and not even trying to just copy paste it into your browser is rather lazy I must say. Not much I can do about not having a steam account. My community is exclusively for steam games. There is no reason for anyone with out it to ever use our forums. And here is a working link.

Also after testing, only accounts with access to admin CP can view the rss feed.

I think you forgot it's you asking for help, not us. And we don't tell you things like "you're too lazy to fix it yourself". So I'd be careful with that, because if I were the person you called lazy, I'd add you straight to my ignore list. You could just correct the link to make the life easier for people trying to help you, that's all..

As for the issue, as I said earlier one of the plugins is causing it, all misc.php links are blocked for non-admins: http://tf2app.com/forum/misc.php?action=help And it seems to be Steam Login which uses the misc_start hook incorrectly: https://github.com/stewartiee/Steam-Open...n.php#L596 You can contact the author here about this bug: http://community.mybb.com/user-62284.html

Your link doesn't work on my tablet, perhaps its a proxy issue or a compression issue. When we say blank link, we mean we get a blank screen.
