MyBB 1.8.4 (new install)
NoCAPTCHA reCAPTCHA properly configured (users can register)
Plugins: XThreads, Template Conditionals, Tapatalk
This seems to be the same problem as described here, albeit for 1.6.
The problem:
One of my users brought it to my attention that he could not login because of the following error:
I changed his password and attempted to login under his account and received the same error, but my site did not give me an opportunity to complete the reCAPTCHA because it was not showing on the login page.
To allow myself, and the user, to login, I had to set Login and Registration Options > Number of failed logins before verification required to 0. After that we could login.
I don't know how many times the user attempted to login, or if he received this error on his first attempt.
Please let me know if any additional information is needed to help me solve this issue; otherwise, any ideas how to correct this?
