I have a Forum that has worked very well with theme "Tranquil" till I uploaded the latest version of MyBB some days ago.
I want to prefix that I read some themes might not work with the new version and so I decided to cancel them all and to choose the "default" version, imposing it to users.
I've also checked on Struments and Maintenance if it was ok and appeared some missing files, expecially included in the folder "install" which I had cancelled. I've so uploaded again the folder "install" putting the empty file "lock". Now on the admin panel it seems all ok: no missing files.
I have also checked every single file to be put by Filezilla in the right position, over writing the ones already there.
The problem: I cannot anymore moderate the posts users send and they go directly online I can't even modify their posts (there's no more the button Modify in the dropdown menu, in which there are many empty spaces).
The only "modify" I see is not under the post but at the very bottom of the page, but is "modify - see discussion notes" and it's not the one I am looking for.
In Mozilla I see a button (see file attached) under the post which is black, very strange. Anyway, it works as "reply", but unfortunately I should also modify the posts very often for privacy reasons before reply and now I can't.
In Opera or Chrome this black button is not visible and it is impossible even to reply.
I hope I have made myself understood. Unfortunately in Italy there's no more a Forum for MyBB users. I hope you can help me, some way. Please answer in a didascalic way, as for me it is not easy to understand what I should do, even if it was written in Italian, you can imagine in English...
