Hi,

I have two forums running MyBB 1.8.3
I tried upgrading the http://slots-guide.eu forum but it failed and only got the error message I had to remove the installation folder to undo the issue.
I've not tried upgrading the other forum yet as I'm scared the same thing will happen and that forum is very active.

_m_ has already logged into both my sites to fix problems in the past, perhaps he or someone can check my upgrading?

There's usually a filed called like LOCK or something similar in the installation folder, make sure to delete that.
