just got error upgrading the forum to mybb 1.8.4

Please help me what to do now?
ensure that
all files are uploaded correctly & they are accessible (
CHMOD 644) and earlier
config.php file exists in its location (
inc folder)
All files are 644 and now i can see that config.php file is empty....How?
The config file in the installation zip file is also empty......i don't know why?
^ oh! don't you have a backup of config.php file to replace
