Add warning notification for moderators/admins on the top of the forum index that there are some posts/threads/attachment waiting for moderation.
Something like notification for new accounts which are waiting for activation
As long as this is able to be disabled for those who want it disabled. Big boards come to mind immediately.

yep, we have almost 1,000 unapproved posts.
I think it would need to be from X time to now, because attachments can't be soft deleted.
Anyways, this has already been suggested and never makes it to the core.
