First time upgrading on the new host, and error 403 pops up on the install folder. Only time I ever had this was with like Mod_Security but IIRC that doesn't effect MyBB anymore does it? I'm sure it's super easy and I'm an idiot but for some reason my motivate comes on the day I am probably the most unable to even attempt to be sober.

Also not sure if this subforum is for full upgrades for minor upgrades but this was minor... :/

Edit: Oddly enough, going straight to the index file let's it work fine.

Not to sure about this one, but going straight to the index.php file worked.

though there is a lock file in the install folder, it would be better to delete the folder or rename it
before that ensure that all MyBB system files exist through the file verification tool
