Hi,

I'm new to MyBB. I've added a forum using a template. After customizing some of the images, I noticed the layout does not have alink that allows registered users to look at their own profile, add an avatar, etc.

My page is password protected (because it's for VIP members only), but below is a screen shot; and I used this theme:
"Metin2 Theme"

I guess I'm wondering, if I need to turn on something in the CP Panel.

Very grateful for any insight.
Thx!
Lex

Give Your Forum Url And Test Account
Are you using MyBB 1.8? It's a 1.6 theme and more problems will most likely be encountered. So I suggest to choose another one from here: http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?actio...ory=themes
Thanks Destroy, I'll try one of those!

I uploaded one of those themes, and still had an error (a slew of ????????? across the top), so I went back to the old.
Here's the URL:
http://www.ghostghroup.com/mybb/
it will ask for a login:
anything
$5ghost

It's new, but if you can see, there is no where for new users to edit their account or add an avatar, etc

Thanks!
Lex

That wasn't mentioned in OP and has nothing to do with theme - you seem to have a PHP file with incorrect encoding. Make sure all of them are saved with UTF-8 without BOM encoding. If you don't know which file is the culprit, use the bomfix plugin: http://community.mybb.com/thread-141130-...pid1019988

As you wish. However, don't expect people to readily answer any other future support threads connected with this theme, which are very easy to predict - JS (report/quick edit/quick reply/thread ratings/etc.) not working at all, broken registration (all users shown as spambots), etc. The theme requires heavy template modifications to work well in 1.8.
