I wanted to move a thread/post and when I got to the option of where to move it, it was incomplete.

Just answer the questions,

1. Does this problem arise in this theme or all installed themes.

2. Did u install any new plugins.

I had a similar issue with another file ....for get what one but it was a _lang file

I am getting missing text and empty buttons on all moderator options like splitting and merging and moving....
Maybe I have another corrupt _lang file somewhere?

Please upload all lang files again, just in case. Same for other languages in case you had.
And try with the english if you were using a different language.

Also please make sure that you are not dislaying black text on a black background. You can click and drag your mouse over the text area to find that out. If you see text then you have black text there.

Yes, I just replaced moderation.lang.php with a fresh new one from the 1.2.3 package and all is good.
You know, somehow many of my files got corrupt out of nowhere.
I have installed this board several times and never had an issue with them but this ONE board got all screwy.
