How can I fix this issue, after I upgraded my bulletin board from 1.6 to 1.8; SQL error appeared when I try to access my AdminCP

the upgrade had not run fine ..
have you run the upgrade script and did the upgrade script finish without reporting any problems ?
I can't remember if the upgrade script finish without reporting any problems, if ever, can I re-run the upgrade script?
do you have backup of earlier database ? if so, you can restore it, re-upload MyBB 1.8.4 files & run the upgrade script

I tried to access AdminCP then this error statement appeared:
/home/xxx/public_html/inc/languages/english/admin/ficons.lang.php does not exist
I disabled all plugins before I upgrade.
you can copy such reported language files from languages/english folder to languages/english/admin folder
