What file(s) do i need to edit to change those images?
I have JPGs and not GIFs so i would like to know which files need to be updated for those to wrk.

I would just open them up in a photo editor (Gimp, PS, PSP, etc...) and just save as .gif that should do it.
Templates in admincp have a search and replace feature...try it.
replace on.gif with on.jpg, off.gif with off.jpg, and offlock.gif with offlock.jpg.
It will take you less than 2 minutes.

its worked, it finds it in all of the themes you have installed, its a pretty useful feature if you make skins
lol...people are very unaware of the power in the admincp for the most part. It's all there if you know where to look and how to use it.
There is very little modification I needed to do for admincp to suit my needs (which are great).
