Hello,
My welcome email currently states that registrants will receive a separate email approving them and activating their account. Trouble is, I've got the boards set up for instant activation. How do I change the welcome email to reflect instant activation?
Thanks much!
Is this a plugin your using?
Nope. I'm actually using the last version of myBB; haven't upgraded yet. The email is automatic. Here's the text:

Welcome to Longhairlovers.com Forums

Please keep this email for your records. Your account information is as follows:

----------------------------
Username: xxxxxx
Password: xxxxxxxx
----------------------------

Your account is currently inactive, the administrator of the board will need to activate it before you can log in. You will receive another email when this has occured.

Please do not forget your password as it has been encrypted in our database and we cannot retrieve it for you. However, should you forget your password you can request a new one which will be activated in the same way as this account.

Thank you for registering.
MyBB doesn't send out a email unless it's set to 'email activation'.

Thanks! Where's the "email activation" option? Is there a way to change it?

Log into your Admin CP, then "User Registration and Profile Options".
Second line is Registration Method, then take your pick from the drop-
down menu. Smile
