So my version of MyBB is not exactly standard. I've done so many updates on the back-end and front-end people stopped calling it MyBB. Angel But I'm just wondering what the upgrade process is like. And is it really worth me upgrading? I've fixed all the vulns I could find, done some other security work and created a few systems of my own. So is it really, really worth upgrading?
Which version are you currently using?
If your modifications are done with plugins, no trouble.
If you edited the core of MyBB, upgrading it may make you lose your changements.

As long as you don't want to fix bugs and security issues on your own...

MyBB is huge which makes me really hard to believe you can assure your forum is secure just by "fixing all vulns you could find". There is a reason we (need to) publish security updates regularly. Wink
