I have same problem. I tried many times but TY alerts registering but not showing in recent alerts. I check language files 3 times. I don't know why this plugin doesn't work like that.

Thanks for verifying it's not only me. Looks like a bug with however TYL is set up to show MyAlerts. 

I think this is a problem with your instalation - I just tried 3 times on different webhosting and works fine on fresh copy of mybb

I'll check on this tonight on a test board to see if this is an issue or not for me as well.

I tried every option. I don't have problem with installation steps. Maybe this is caused plugin conflict? 

Try fresh MyBB installation, it must be problem on your side

I can't duplicate this on my test board. the alert is showing up correctly:

I found js conflict on showthread template for thankyoulike plugin. I fix that. But my MyAlerts plugin broken for another reason. When i upload myalerts file plugins tab on admin panel is broken. How i full uninstall and reinstall MyAlerts plugin on Phpmyadmin? (I try clean mybb_datacache plugin table but still have a problem.) 

This thread is ONLY about Thank you/like system. So, support for MyAlerts is not here, contact devs please!

MOREOVER - MYALERTS v2 is not officialy released, so wait for an official version!
