I don't know what to do we had just finished upgrading to 1.8.4...

Fixed. I just removed the 2FA options from ACP. Please anyone inform me of a better way?

Follow the upgrade guide: http://docs.mybb.com/1.8/install/upgrade/ and don't use autoinstallers/autoupdaters.
