This is really unusual problem .. I am unable to change the header Template.
1. If i dont make any changes and save ithe template ..Its says that the template is saved successfully.
2. If i edit a few lines and try to save i get the foll. error :

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /COMMUNITY/admin/templates.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I tried changing the permissions of the admin folder as well as the template.php file itself but no luck.

3. The footer template is geeting edited Normally.

What is the problem? any idea ?

The same error appears when im trying to edit the header include template.

If you open the directory where MyBB files are hosted using some php client, you can find a file called .htaccess, if you don't find it, create one on your computer and upload it,yes only called .htaccess.

Now this file should contain

SecFilterEngine Off

Whether you edit an existing file or create a new one, include this line there.
