Hi all,

First time poster. I'm considering using MyBB to build a forum, or at least experiment and learn. I have a shared hosting account on Mediatemple, that currently host a couple of Wordpress sites.

My question is, will it be enough to run MyBB? And up to what threshold, # of users?

Here are the specs on my hosting:

100 GBs of premium storage
1 TB of short-path bandwidth
100 unique sites / alternate domains
2,000 GPUs
100 databases
1,000 email addresses
AccountCenter custom control panel
Pre-installed software:

PHP 5.5 with FastCGI
Perl v5.10.1
Python v2.6.6
Apache 2.2.22
MySQL 5.1
Git 1.7.2.5
SVN 1.7.4

Yes, by all accounts. You shouldn't hit a maximum number of users as a result of this setup. I can't articulate a number for you, because your most likely problem would just be MySQL or Apache bottlenecking (Apache 2.4 would be ideal because of performance improvements made in it, but 2.2 is okay).

MT is actually better than most hosts .
