The third option does sort of exist already; when you make an attachment then you can look in my attachments, find the one you want and link it. its just clunky and is outside the approval process ( I think)

Yea, I unapproved the attachment but it is still visible here.

Not confirmed does not mean it will not happen, it just means that we haven't decided either way These things take time and require a majority approval - I cannot simply say "yes" to everything without making sure the whole team agrees.

I forgot to ask this question in last post, will users be able to delete multiple attachments at once and only need to confirm the deletion once?
I just had to individually remove 12 attachments and confirm removal of each.

Can't officially confirm as it hasn't been discussed by the team, but that definitely sounds like a reasonable suggestion.

I'm not sure if that would be better placed in a different thread but it's about the attachment system too.

I noticed that MyBB image attachments are almost no existent in google image search. The current embedding process (especially missing title and alt tags) is not optimized for search engines. I'd vote for improvement here.

I'd agree. I also don't like the ".attach" extension we use for some reason. I'd rather just use the original file extension, for similar reasons.

The thumbnails use the original extension. But yeah, the whole attachment system needs improvements.
