what do i need to do to get latest posts, threds come up on the right/left like this site.

that thctokers forum is running on earlier version of MyBB and uses Advanced Side Box plugin
that plugin is yet to be made available for your version of MyBB

which shout box plugin you are trying ? can you give its link

any other plug ins like that for 1.8??

just going to turn of the shout box for now as not sure id want 1
