Dear friends, have realized that MyBB 1.8.x is not compatible with mobile devices as the new Google algorithm?

I tested this tool provided by Google itself and see the results:

If they want to test their own forums, access:

And enter the URL of your website or forum.
You can use GoMobile or any responsive theme. The default one was never said to be mobile-friendly.

Are there any plans of the default theme become responsive or compatible with mobile devices?

I ask because other free forum scripts already "adapted" to this new reality, such as phpBB, for example.
1.8.x - no.
2.0 - yes.
Google just want you to have a mobile version. It is certainly beneficial to use Responsive theme ( there are two of them on mod site ), but using Responsive theme could be a mess if you are into plugins as all of them are not ready to accommodate it.

Nice that MyBB 2.0 is mobile ready.
With MyBB GoMobile, I get good Google rating for mobile friendliness, though I optimized the default template .
you can update gomobile to 1.8 and that does the trick

People also seem to forget that 2.0 is a complete rewrite and using a PHP framework which is going to break every single existing plugin and theme ever made...

Not so nice...
There is enough time for plugin developers to catch up, right ?
Hope they will all get it, but not all developer of some great plugins are still activ anymore.
I think more then 50% of the plugins will be lost. No more changing the 16* to 18*.
