Hi,

I'm using the following mod to allow a specific group to use html inside their post : http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=16

What I would like is that when they use the newthread, newreply or editpost function they could use the TinyMCE editor. A similar thing has been done in the past with MyBB1.4: http://mods.mybb.com/view/tinymce-plugin , also working in MyBB 1.6 : http://community.mybb.com/thread-98331.html

I would like to know how to adapt this old plugin for MyBB 1.8, i have changed the version compatibility and tried to install it.

It needs to have the settings of the forum on "allow html" to possibly work: when it is the case, i don't have any editor, not even the regular one. When the settings is done by the other mod (html allow based on group id), i still have the regular editor. Which is not what I would like, I would like that this is based on the group id. Would be on my side to set the proper setting for allowing the html with the other mod but the editor should be there.

Is anybody have an idea on how I could adapt this ?

PS : I've tried with the latest TinyMCE version available : 4.1.9 ( http://www.tinymce.com/download/download.php )

Thanks in advance.

PSĀ²: Firstly my idea was to implement the full editor that we were using with joomla : http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/...ditors/jce , demo here : http://demo.joomlacontenteditor.net/
But I think that can't be easily possible and that integrating the tinymce editor would be easier and the full featured tinymce seems to give a lot of possibilities for text, table, image,..
